Acorns 2 Oaks Nursery Provisions
Acorns 2 Oaks is registered with OFSTED and is regularly inspected by them to ensure that high quality is maintained.
Where eligible, government funded places are available at both settings for children aged 15 months to 4 year olds for either 15 or 30 hours.
Canterbury Centre provides nursery places for children aged 15 months to 5 years, with Pre-School term-time sessions for 38 weeks of the year. Opening hours are 8am to 6pm.
Peppermint Centre provides term-time nursery places for children 20 months, to 5 years, 38 weeks of the year. Opening hours are 8am to 4pm.
Extra Optional Charges at both nurseries
Additional hours – £9 per hour
Additional 3 hour session 9am-12pm or 12pm -3pm – £25
Dance Classes, Music, Drumming or Football Coaching – 30 minute class per week £10 per term £12 if more weeks in the term
Our curriculum and practices are created and delivered in accordance to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted regulations.
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is the standard set for education, teaching, learning and care of 0 to 5-year-olds. It was introduced as part of the 2006 Childcare Act and must be followed by all Ofsted registered settings and childminders.
Ofsted are the government regulatory body who inspect and regulate services providing education and children care providers. Their role is to make sure that organisations providing education, training and care services in England do so to a high standard for children and students.
